Following in the footsteps of my Grandparents, you could say that hairstyling is in my blood. I graduated from the Paul Da Costa Institute in 1997, and have been with Aveda ever since. Being in the Aveda network has provided me with the opportunity to attend advanced education from some of our industries top ranked professionals in hair cutting and colouring. Because every guest that sits in my chair is unique and special, my goal is to create a calm and comfortable experience where we work together to create a style that best suits your hair, styling experience and lifestyle. Building an individual relationship with each guest leads to a positive experience and a creative outcome. There is nothing better than making someone feel like a million bucks!!

25+ years.

What is your favourite service to provide and why?

I love a beautiful classic hilight and cut transformation! 

Bringing out the beauty and potential of a clients hair is why we do it!!

Ohhh, and a fantastic red tone is pretty great too!! ;)

What do you love most about guest services?

My clients are like my second family! I love our visits!! Catching up, hearing about grandkids, pets, a daughter’s wedding, the latest restaurant and most of all making them feel FANTASTIC!

What is an accomplishment you're proud of?

Probably being a 10 year cancer survivor!! 

 

Tell me about a goal you have professionally and personally?

Professionally, to be remembered for my artistry, just as my great-mother & grandparents were in the industry! I actually had a client in my chair once who told me about her stylist in Saskatchewan…turned out to be my grandfather! How special!!

Personally, to learn to be more patient, my husband would be most appreciative!

What is something your guests might not know about you?

I was an assistant coach for swimming in the Special Olympics.
